Current commercial relationships

None yet. SolarEnergyPrices.com currently has no affiliate, referral, advertising, or sponsored relationships. This page will be updated the moment that changes.

How the site is designed to make money (planned)

• Opt-in installer referrals: after a user has received full calculator value, they may choose to be introduced to vetted local installers. We will disclose exactly who may contact them, what data is shared, and that consent is required. No pre-checked boxes.
• Sponsored installer profiles (clearly labeled): installers may pay for a profile, which will be marked “Sponsored.” Sponsored status can never change pricing benchmarks, rankings, or analysis outcomes.
• Later: premium quote analysis, market data/API for businesses — always with methodology published.

Lines we will not cross

• Paid installers cannot alter local market pricing benchmarks, red-flag rules, or analysis outcomes.
• We will not rank installers primarily by lead fees or commission.
• We will not collect a phone number before showing calculator results.
• We will not accept payment to present an expired incentive as current or to remove a legitimate red flag.
• We will not make accusations about specific companies without evidence.

Editorial independence

Data, methodology, and analysis are produced independently of any commercial relationship. If a conflict ever exists, it will be disclosed on the relevant page and in this document. See also editorial policy.
