Incentive finder

Pick a state to see its incentive and tariff records with explicit status — current, expired, recheck needed — plus sources and last-checked dates. The single most important record is federal: the residential clean energy credit (30%) ended 12/31/2025.

Incentives

How to verify an incentive

  1. Check the program’s official page (state energy office, utility, DSIRE).
  2. Note the current funding block / budget status — many rebates decline or pause.
  3. Ask your installer to put the expected incentive amount in writing, with the program name.
  4. Confirm eligibility for your system (size, owner-occupied, interconnection date).

Tax-credit honesty

A tax credit is not cash in hand — it reduces tax owed, and only if you owe. The residential credit is gone for 2026 anyway. We never write “you will receive $X.” Confirm any credit math with a qualified tax professional. Federal incentives page
