Quote comparison
Stack two or three installer quotes in one normalized table: price per watt (battery removed), equipment, production, warranty and financing. The tool highlights cheapest, lowest $/W, highest production and longest warranty — and it will never tell you the cheapest is the best.
Normalized comparison
When prices differ 20–30% for the same roof
That gap is normal and is usually explained by equipment tier, sales/overhead, financing markup, or add-ons like a main-panel upgrade. Your job is to identify which factor explains it — and to get the installers to justify it in writing. If two quotes claim wildly different production for the same roof, ask for the modeling tool and assumptions behind each.
